With a background in International Management and experience in a number of countries, Edward helps governments and NGO’s from around the world in making cities bicycle friendly by assisting in the development of cycling policies and bicycle infrastructure in order to face many of the big issues arising in the next decennia (environment, urbanization, public health, etc.).


Bas Doorn, Keyn


Bas has studied criminology and information security and has previously worked at the Dutch National Prosecutor's Office as a specialist on cybercrime. He mainly works on making Keyn as secure as possible.


Wouter Segijn, Keyn

Wouter is specialized in construction management and engineering and has experience implementing IT projects in various organizations. He makes sure that we are doing the things that we should be doing.


Peter Jens, Koppert

Peter Jens is Director Strategic Alliances at Koppert Biological Systems. He works within agricultural, food and nutrition issues around the world and promotes south-south cooperation between farmers, cooperatives and research institutes. For the Koppert Foundation Peter is responsible for innovation and education projects. As CEO of AND BioPharma BV he is spearheading the development and roll-out of a potentially paradigm shifting innovation, based on the discovery of DNA selftoxicity, where the growth of (any?) organism is stunted once it is in contact with its' own extracellulair selfDNA with inevitable death as a result.


Margarita Lourido, Switch! Intercultural

Dr. Margarita Lourido was born in Cali, Colombia. She lived and worked in different countries (Colombia, USA, Spain and The Netherlands). She believes in finding opportunities abroad and in the richness of multicultural environments. Since 2005, she lives in The Netherlands and here she enjoys contributing to the development of international professionals, so that they have better results and reach their goals in their country of residence. She has a Cum Laude Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Health, worked as a board member of the Association of Colombian Professionals in The Netherlands (APC). Now she works as a successful psychologist for internationals, and is the founder of Switch! Intercultural. Switch Intercultural helps international professionals and students facilitating their professional and personal development through training and individual coaching sessions. Flyer


Maria Lucia Bermudez, Here2Start

Maria Lucia Bermudez has over 10 years of experience in business development and marketing communications with clients from LATAM and Europe. She co-founded 7days2go and Here2Start with the purpose of helping entrepreneurs to professionalize their business and grow with the help of a pool of +40 experts. Maria leads the Holland Alumni Network Netherlands (HAn-NL) Entrepreneurs community aiming to bridge the academy and the entrepreneurial ecosystem for the high skilled internationals based in the Netherlands.


Jerre Sweers, SSI

Jerre is a well-seasoned aerospace entrepreneur with a background in mechanical engineering. Before starting his own company, he worked at such companies as ESA ESTEC and Fokker. After working 12 years in industry he started his own company Stellar Space Industries (SSI).

Sandra Rincon is Founder and President of Holland Alumni network-Netherlands and a PhD candidate at Tilburg University on how intercultural competence and social responsibility can cultivate organizational commitment in higher education. With 30 years of experience in international education, Sandra has developed strategies and programs on global alumni networks and stakeholder engagement, intercultural communication and international mobility. She has served as trainer and adviser to various international organization such as CASE, CLADEA, EAIE, ICARe- Alumni, NAFSA and Nuffic. She has also authored articles on international engagement. She’s an alumna of UC Davis, UC Irvine and Cal State-Fullerton. She’s passionate about building communities to promote cultural understanding and the value of diversity in creating a better world.
